Isabella Schwartz

Isabella Schwartz is a community organizer and theatre maker. She brings extensive experience engaging with the Los Angeles community, having led initiatives in food cooperative development and food-centered mutual aid. Isabella has directed numerous community outreach efforts, collaborating closely with California-based farmers and farmworker unions, building dialogue and understanding through educational experiences across diverse communities.
With a background in performance and production, her work explores the intersection of community building and empowerment through creativity. She works with multiple theatre collectives across Los Angeles and primarily collaborates with Rogue Machine Theatre. Isabella has contributed to several world-premiere productions focused on bringing forward stories by underrepresented writers and artists. She holds storytelling as a powerful tool to transform narratives, and produces recurring storytelling shows with the mission to explore the contemporary writing process and amplify voices within Los Angeles and beyond.
