We’d love to know you! Fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch.

What it is

PostFire is a centralized platform that simplifies recovery. We give survivors a step-by-step action plan tailored to their circumstances that guides them through their entire recovery, with expert guidance - 100% free.

You can learn more about our work here, and our team and partners here.

how survivors

access postfire

We offer step by step Guides and Expert Q&A’s to the public. If a survivor wants an action plan tailored to them or access to discounted and free stuff, they just have to verify their identity. Verification can be done automatically using a FEMA acceptance letter or insurance claim, or manually using other proof of residency in or up to 6 miles around a burn scar.

We serve everyone, regardless of citizenship status.

By the numbers

Since January, 2025, 16.4 million people have interacted with PostFire content.

We also publish a regular Newsletter (83% open rate) and put content out via Instagram.

There are too many elbows in non-profit work - we want to lift you up.

how we can work together

We send survivors

to you when

they’re ready

Think of being in PostFire more like having an ad that is presented to the targeted audience you serve, in a moment when you are relevant to their needs.

There are two main ways survivors get presented with your services within PostFire:

In our provider library - In their own time, when they need something, Survivors are presented with simple, categorized cards on all of our vetted service providers. These make it very easy to understand what they can come to you for, who qualifies, and how to reach out.

In the action plan - When your services are relevant to the step in their recovery that a survivor is on, PostFire will present your org to them. This context increases user participation.

Direct Referrals

Survivors have told us of the pain of filling out similar forms many times over as they apply for help, so we try to cut that down.

How it works:

  1. Your entity gets set up in our provider system

  2. When survivors want to reach out they are prompted to opt-in to information sharing with you

  3. Should they opt-in, the information you need is sent to your team and you are pinged to reach out directly to the survivor.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one.

We would prefer not to charge any org that’s helping survivors, so we ask that entities that use us for referalls donate what they save in outreach and intake costs by using PostFire, if that’s manageable.
